The International Journal of Biological Reports (INJBIR) welcomes original, scientifically rigorous manuscripts that fall within the journal's Aims and Scope. Authors are required to read and follow these instructions carefully before submitting a manuscript.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the basic submission requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before entering the editorial and peer-review process.

Authors should submit the manuscript as an editable Microsoft Word file unless otherwise specified by the Editorial Office.
Suggested Reviewers
Authors may suggest up to three potential reviewers with appropriate expertise in the subject of the manuscript.
Suggested reviewers should be independent researchers with no conflict of interest with the authors, their institutions, or the submitted work. Authors should provide the reviewers' full names, institutional affiliations, and professional email addresses.
The suggestion of reviewers is optional and does not guarantee that they will be invited or selected. The Editorial Office reserves the right to select reviewers independently.
Authors should not suggest individuals who have recently collaborated with them, have a personal or professional relationship that could compromise impartiality, or have another potential conflict of interest.
B. Research Articles
Title Page
The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the study. Where appropriate, the title should indicate the study design.
The title page should include:
- Full title of the manuscript.

- Principal findings.
- Main conclusions and scientific implications.
Abbreviations and acronyms should generally be avoided in the abstract unless they are universally recognized.
Keywords
Provide 3–7 relevant keywords immediately after the abstract.
Keywords should be specific and descriptive and should assist the discoverability and indexing of the article.
Introduction
The Introduction should:
- Provide the relevant scientific background.
- Clearly identify the research problem or knowledge gap.
- Summarize relevant previous research.
- State the rationale for the study.
- Clearly define the objectives or research questions.
The Introduction should be concise and should not contain an extensive review of the literature.

Results should be organized logically and should not unnecessarily duplicate information have presented in tables or figures.
Statistical results should be reported using appropriate statistical measures and should provide sufficient information to support the conclusions.
Discussion
The Discussion should interpret the findings in relation to the research objectives and relevant scientific literature.
Authors should:
- Explain the significance of the findings.
- Compare the results with previous studies.
- Discuss possible explanations for important findings.
- Identify limitations where appropriate.
- Explain the scientific or practical implications of the study.
The Discussion should not simply repeat the Results.
Conclusions
The Conclusions should provide a concise statement of the principal findings and their implications.

Acknowledgements
Individuals or organizations that contributed to the work but do not meet the criteria for authorship may be acknowledged.
Permission should be obtained from individuals before including their names in the Acknowledgements section.
Author Contributions
Authors should provide a clear statement describing the contribution of each author to the study and manuscript.
Declarations
Where applicable, manuscripts should include statements covering:
- Ethics approval.

- Funding.
- Conflict of interest.
- Data availability.
- Author contributions.
If a particular declaration is not applicable, authors should state this clearly.
References
References should be accurate, complete, relevant, and appropriately cited in the manuscript.
Authors should ensure that every reference cited in the text appears in the reference list and that every reference in the reference list is cited in the manuscript.
DOIs should be included where available.
Authors should avoid unnecessary citation of irrelevant literature and excessive self-citation.
Tables
Tables should:
- Be numbered consecutively.
- Have a concise and informative title.
- Be cited in the text in numerical order.
- Be understandable without referring extensively to the main text.

The International System of Units (SI) should be used consistently throughout the manuscript.
Abbreviations should be defined at their first occurrence in the main text and used consistently thereafter.
Statistical abbreviations and expressions, including ANOVA, SD, SE, and related terms, should be defined clearly when first used unless they are universally understood in the relevant context.
Scientific names of organisms should be written in italics, with the genus name spelled out at first mention. The genus may subsequently be abbreviated where this does not cause ambiguity.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted manuscripts are original and do not infringe the copyright or other rights of third parties.
Copyright and licensing conditions applicable to accepted articles are stated in the journal's Copyright and Licensing Policy.
Authors must obtain appropriate permission for copyrighted material reproduced from other sources and must provide the relevant attribution.
