It is also known for their rich content of lipids, fibers, protein, minerals and bioactive compound that make it priceless for the consumption of human animals, and aquatic organisms also use in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and in cosmetics. Due to their &lt;strong&gt;rich&lt;/strong&gt; content of polyunsaturated fatty acids and vital amino acids, macro-algae are developing as a &lt;strong&gt;sustainable substitute&lt;/strong&gt; for fish oil in aquaculture feed. &lt;strong&gt;Historically employed&lt;/strong&gt; in agriculture for their &lt;strong&gt;plant-growth-promoting&lt;/strong&gt; properties, seaweeds continue to provide to enhancing crop yield. Furthermore, seaweed farming supports &lt;strong&gt;environmental stewardship&lt;/strong&gt; by enhancing coastal ecosystem health and contributing a &lt;strong&gt;viable&lt;/strong&gt; source of biofuel through anaerobic digestion. The &lt;strong&gt;diversity&lt;/strong&gt; of seaweed species &lt;strong&gt;adaptable&lt;/strong&gt; to various climates from tropical to temperate underscores the importance of increased investment in &lt;strong&gt;scientific exploration&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;b&gt;, &lt;strong&gt;technological advancement&lt;/strong&gt;, &lt;/b&gt;and&lt;b&gt; &lt;strong&gt;strategic policy-making&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/b&gt; to accelerate the development of the seaweed industry and its contribution to advancing the &lt;strong&gt;blue economy&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;</abstract>
