Accessing the Manuscript
After logging in to the submission system, navigate to the Reviewer Section in your dashboard to access manuscripts assigned to you.
Downloading the Manuscript
Download the manuscript file provided for review and carefully read the complete manuscript, including tables, figures, supplementary materials, and references where applicable.
Reviewing the Manuscript
Please evaluate the manuscript objectively and constructively, considering in particular:
  • Originality and novelty
  • Scientific significance
  • Methodological rigor
  • Experimental or study design
  • Appropriateness of data analysis and statistics, where applicable
  • Interpretation of results
  • Validity of conclusions
  • Quality and clarity of presentation
  • Relevance and adequacy of references
  • Compliance with relevant ethical standards
Reviewers may use the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word to provide specific comments and suggestions directly in the manuscript, where appropriate.
Comments should be professional, evidence-based, and helpful to the authors. Personal criticism or comments unrelated to the scientific content should be avoided.
Confidentiality and Anonymity
The manuscript and all information obtained during the review process are strictly confidential.
Reviewers must not share the manuscript, review materials, or unpublished information with anyone outside the editorial process without prior permission from the Editorial Office.
Because INJBIR uses a double-blind peer-review system, reviewers should not disclose their identity to the authors or include identifying information in the reviewed manuscript or comments.
Unpublished information obtained through peer review must not be used for personal, academic, or commercial advantage.
Completing the Review Form
Complete all sections of the review form carefully and provide sufficient scientific justification for your recommendation.
Your comments should help the editor assess the manuscript and, where appropriate, help the authors improve the quality and clarity of their work.
Recommendation
After completing your evaluation, select the recommendation that best reflects your assessment of the manuscript:
  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject
The final editorial decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Editor based on the reviewers' evaluations and independent editorial assessment.
Uploading the Reviewed Manuscript
If requested by the Editorial Office, upload the reviewed manuscript with your comments and tracked changes, together with the completed review form.
Please ensure that no identifying information is included in the reviewed file.
Submitting Your Review
After completing all required sections and uploading the necessary files, click "Save and Send" to submit your review.
Please complete your review within the assigned timeframe, normally 2–3 weeks, unless otherwise specified by the Editorial Office.
