The International Journal of Biological Reports (INJBIR) strictly adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All authors, reviewers, and editors are required to fully disclose any potential conflicts of interest, which will be published alongside the relevant article to ensure transparency.

Animal Studies 
• All research involving animals must obtain prior approval from an appropriate institutional ethics committee. 
• Experiments must comply with internationally accepted standards for the care and use of animals in research, including ARRIVE guidelines. 
• Informed consent must be obtained from animal owners when client-owned animals are involved and explicitly stated in the manuscript.

Human Studies 
• All research involving human participants must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and obtain approval from an appropriate institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee. 
• Written informed consent must be obtained from all participants or their legal guardians, and this must be explicitly stated in the manuscript.
